After earning a B.S. and M.A. in the biological sciences from Appalachian State University, I taught biology and botany at V.P.I and Middle Tennessee State University. Following a summer at Stanford University's Hopkins Marine Station, I was awarded a N.S.F.fellowship at the University of Hawaii where I earned a Ph.D. in marine botany. After teaching at Humboldt State and the University of Hawaii Manoa Campus, I gave up a career in academia, and dedicated the last 25 years to a vocation in real estate: 24 of those 25 years have been with Herth Real Estate where I am the "senior-most" senior marketing consultant. Dedicating myself to the pursuit of excellence in all endeavors, my goal is to assist buyers and sellers in realizing their real estate needs in the most successful way possible. I pledge to you the most professional, ethical and rewarding experience available in the industry, and look forward to working with and for you given the opportunity.
In addition to marketing many of San Francisco's charming and historic Victorians, I am deeply involved in the preservation and restoration of two of North Carolina's most historically significant properties: the one being an ancestral 1758 German frontier home, and the other a high Federal Style 1830s plantation home. This pursuit, along with a continuing active avocational study of Pacific marine red algae, is most enjoyable as is my vocation as a Realtor. |
