The BUZZ on Carol Bee is that she is an agent with a sense of humor and cool head in a hot situation.
Carol arrived in San Francisco with her husband, Richard, in 1984 who was pursuing a graduate degree in child psychology. After completing a course at the Cordon Rouge in Mill Valley, Carol considered opening a cafe and pastry shop. Instead after much consideration they decided to invest in San Francisco and purchase a home. For Carol, clear communication is critical to a successful real estate experience. "There is a process to buying property. Even if you have purchased property in other areas; San Francisco has its own customs and requirements. It is crucial that a buyer understands the nuances of the San Francisco Real Estate market". Carol takes the time to explain the process to her clients to match their needs and answer their questions.
Another key to her success is listening. "Real Estate transactions are extremely personal and one can never be sure the path each transaction will take". Carol prides herself in the ability to act sanely in the occasionally insane situations that may arise. Her keen knowledge coupled with her astute listening ability allows her to successfully close her transactions. She also has the ability, willingness and insight to ask for assistance when needed from a strong team of support from the Herth management team.
Carol joined Herth Real Estate in 2007 after her previous firm closed. Herth Real Estate provides Carol the support, guidance and information in the state of the art technology. Carol thrives from its boutique environment. Carol demonstrates her ongoing commitment to personal and professional development by attending trainings and seminars to remain current in the latest industry standards and trends. From Italian lessons to unraveling Web 2.0 technology Carol continues to challenge herself personally and professionally.
Carol is active in her Bernal Heights neighborhood as a member of the Bernal Business Alliance and the Bernal Heights Fiesta. She further demonstrates her commitment to her community to a wide range of volunteer efforts including delivering food for Meals on Wheels, The Aids Walk in Golden Gate Park and supporting the campaign against Prop 8." I enjoy San Francisco," she says with her ready smile. "I love the mix of the City. The diversity that I find in San Francisco set it apart from anywhere else"!
Frequent travelers, Carol and Richard have explored Europe, South & Central America and Asia. They make semi-annual trips to the Ashland Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, Oregon, as well as maintaining subscriptions to the Berkeley Rep, ACT in San Francisco and are members of the San Francisco Jazz community. They are patrons and proponents of the Slow Food Movement and are always found at the local Farmers Market on Saturday mornings. And, most of all Carol is fun to work with. She brings a smile to her clients by baking their favorite homemade desert after close of escrow!
